River Corridors for Wildlife

Join us to learn about how river corridors can be managed to enhance wildlife habitat and to provide erosion control for flood resiliency. Coverts Cooperator Ron Millard has worked with the White River Partnership on a floodplain tree planting and has placed some of his land in an easement with the Vermont River Conservancy. Presenters will be Greg Russ from the White River Partnership and Steve Libby from the Vermont River Conservancy. We’ll meet at the Corner School Resource Center in Granville for a short presentation before we head to Hancock Mountain Farm for a field session to learn more about their efforts.
