2024 VT Tree Farmers of the Year Celebration at Foxglove Farm

Join Vermont Woodlands Association and the Vermont Tree Farm Program as we celebrate the 2024 VT Tree Farmers of the Year, Mark and Catie Raishart (and family)! This special event is open to everyone—from those curious about the Tree Farm program to those who have been enrolled for decades. Come spend the day in the woods with others who share a passion for sustainable woodland stewardship.

Time: 9:30 am – 3:00 pm

Event Highlights:

• Guided woods walk led by the Raisharts, showcasing their forest management practices
• “Build a bluebird house” and “owl pellet dissection” family activities
• Catered lunch by Kamuda’s Market in Pittsford includes their famous deli sandwiches and homemade soups, dessert, drinks
• Champlain Orchard famous cider donuts, fresh apples, cider & coffee
• Ample time for networking with other forest stewards and Tree Farm enthusiasts

Registration is required. Registration fee is $30/person. Kids 14 and under are free. Family rate (for those with up to 3 kids under 14) $40.
