Saying Goodbye to Susan

If you’ve called the VWA office at any point over the past six months, there’s a good chance you spoke with Susan Culp. This week, we bid her farewell as she wraps up her time as Operations Manager.

Susan joined us in December 2024 and quickly became a steady, thoughtful presence behind the scenes. She played a key role in getting our new Montpelier office up and running and worked hard to improve our accounting and bookkeeping systems—leaving our operations in stronger shape for the future.

Like any good woodland steward, Susan leaves Vermont Woodlands better than she found it.

While we’re sad to see her go, we’re excited for what’s ahead and know we haven’t seen the last of her. We expect we’ll spot her again at a woods walk or event—once part of the VWA community, always part of it.
