We're Hiring! Join our team as the Forest Stewardship Education & Communications Coordinator (Central/North) Position

The Vermont Woodlands Association (VWA) is seeking a part-time Forest Stewardship Education & Communications Coordinator to lead outreach and education that empower landowners to care for their woods.

This position will plan and deliver workshops, woods walks, and webinars; build local relationships; and help make forestry and conservation topics accessible and actionable across northern Vermont. The Coordinator will also lead VWA’s climate-focused outreach and education, developing a statewide initiative on climate resilience in working forests.

The role offers a flexible, part-time schedule (up to 20 hours per week) with a pay range of $20–$25/hour, paid holidays, travel reimbursement, and opportunities for professional development.
