Join Vermont Coverts and Vermont Woodlands Association for an informal discussion over coffee with Ali Kosiba, the new State Climate Forester. Ali is a familiar face in the region, having worked for the Forest Ecosystem Monitoring Cooperative, taught courses for the UVM Forestry Department, and researched tree physiology issues as a graduate student. We were very grateful that she was willing to join us all in our thirteenth week of Friday morning Q&A. Although Ali has been working in Vermont’s forests since 2009, she has only just completed her first month as the Climate Forester.
