Kathy Decker, Forestry Protection Specialist with the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation, answered questions from landowners about forest pests, diseases, and invasive plants. She talked about efforts to monitor gypsy moths, hemlock woolly adelgid, and other pests, and she discussed the state’s efforts to monitor and control emerald ash borer, among other topics.
