Walk in the Woods: Keeping Wildlife in Mind

Tunbridge Conversation Committee and Vermont Coverts: Woodlands for Wildlife invites the community to a walk in the woods of Cooperator Larry Mengedoht to view 10 years of forest management focused on improved wildlife habitat on his 110-acre parcel. The walk will be led by David Paganelli, Orange County Forester. The walk will include a revisit of the apple release efforts, results of wildlife patch cuts, invasive species control, edge and open spaces for wildlife, in woods crop tree release, visit of vernal pool area, and forest canopy release efforts. For questions or directions contact Larry or call 802-889-3307.
