In the Northeast, seasonal climate patterns influence timber harvest scheduling, logging equipment choices and mill procurement strategies. These practices have all shifted and adapted in response to gradual changes in seasonal temperatures and soil moisture pattens over time. In this 1-hour webinar, Dr. Bick will describe and explain climate change adaptations in the forest products supply chain by landowners, forester, loggers, and mills.
The webinar will be facilitated by Alexandra Kosiba, Climate Forester for Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation.
This webinar is approved for 1 CFE credit through SAF and 1 LEAP credit.
