We are thrilled to announce the next offering of Taking Stock: Building Your Woodland Legacy!
In this cohort-based hybrid course, where participants will explore vital aspects of legacy planning—including personal, familial, and legal considerations—through expert insights and peer collaboration. Engage in community workshops that foster shared experiences and knowledge exchange with fellow landowners, enriching your learning journey. By the end of the course, attendees will be equipped to craft a comprehensive stewardship and estate plan aligned with their values, supported by curated resources and a robust network of peers. Join us to embark on this transformative journey of crafting your woodland legacy!
Course Logistics:
- Duration: November 2024 – March 2025
- Dates: Virtual sessions will be the second Wednesday of the month (Nov, Dec, Feb). In person dates vary for each region.
- Regions: Northern VT: Fairbanks Museum, Central VT: Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, and Southern VT: Southern Vermont Natural History Museum
- Registration: $100/family includes: all course materials, Vermont specific legacy planning workbook, in person & virtual programming, one-on-one technical assistance for one year after the course, and more!
- Support: One year of one-on-one technical assistance with quarterly check-ins upon course completion
