Introducing Susan Culp: VWA’s New Operations Manager

We are thrilled to announce that Susan Culp joined the Vermont Woodlands Association team as the Operations Manager on December 1st.  She will be working part-time to support the organization by managing the day-to-day operations, including membership communications and financial management. She has been tasked with developing effective administrative processes and infrastructure to support the organizations growth and the opening of the new office in Montpelier.

She looks forward to working with VWA’s members and finding new ways to help our community connect to forest management resources and programs!

A bit of background about Susan.  Susan lives in Newbury, Vermont and manages a large woodland property. She is often wandering the woods and continually learning how be a better steward. She has worked with natural resource, recreation and conservation nonprofits in a variety of roles for over twenty years and was fortunate to have served for a time as a member of the board of directors for Vermont Woodlands Association. We are thrilled that she is bringing her skills and experience to VWA in a new role, and excited to reconnect with colleagues and friends who care deeply about Vermont’s forests.
