VT Tree Farm Program

Vermont Tree Farm is dedicated to thoughtful stewardship of Vermont's privately owned working forests

The Vermont Tree Farm Program, sponsored by the Vermont Woodlands Association, recognizes and supports sustainable forest management. As part of the nationwide Third-Party Certification Program, it celebrates exemplary forestry practices and raises awareness about the benefits of responsible woodland stewardship.

Vermont Tree Farm is a member of the American Tree Farm System (ATFS), a program of the American Forest Foundation (AFF). Tree Farmers receive international certification through the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), ensuring their forestlands meet the highest sustainability standards.
