An Overview of German Forestry with Applications for Vermont; a Webinar.
In October 2024, County Forester, Robert Nelson, visited Germany with his wife, Judie. While there, he visited 5 forest regions and was hosted by German foresters at 4 sites. The German foresters explained the history, social context, management philosophy, and management techniques unique to their regions. Robert will detail his experiences and insights learned from these experiences and provide applications to our forestry situation here in Vermont.
Please join Robert for a webinar that will give us a virtual visit to these forest regions of Germany!
