Our mission is to create inclusive opportunities for women to engage in forest stewardship and ensure Vermont’s woodlands remain healthy, connected and well-managed for generations to come.

Who We Are

We are a collective of partners united by a shared goal: connecting women landowners with the information, resources and support they need to make confident, informed decisions about their land.

How We Started

While the seeds of WOW-VT were planted years ago by individual organizations, the collaborative effort officially took root in 2019. 

Since then, we’ve grown into a coordinated initiative focused on building a sustainable support network and offering educational and networking opportunities tailored specifically for women woodland owners across Vermont.
