Bat House Building Workshop and Woodswalk
Let's celebrate International Bat Week together!
Join us at the Jericho research forest with Vermont state bat biologist, Alyssa Bennett and Jess Wikle from UVM. We'll spend the first part of the morning on a woods walk discussing bat habitat. We'll then return to a covered space to build three bat houses together. Please note, the bat houses will be used for endangered bat populations on state lands- they are not for participants to take home. Participants will leave with an understanding of how to construct a bat house, what bats need from the bat houses and about bats broadly in Vermont.
Space is limited, registration required.
