Build Your Own Aldo Leopold Bench
Join the Vermont Woodlands Association and the Vermont Tree Farm Program for a unique hands-on workshop to build your own Aldo Leopold bench using wood harvested from the Pfälzerwald Tree Farm. The workshop will be held rain or shine. We will be joined by Jared Nunery, County Forester with VT Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation who will be helping to facilitate the bench building.
Participants will construct a Leopold Bench, like the one shown above, and take it home to enjoy for years to come. Cookout lunch provided.
