Fall VWA Stewardship Gathering: Dinner with a Game Warden
This fall, Vermont Woodlands Association is hosting stewardship potlucks across the state as a way to meet our neighbors, build community and discuss local stewardship concerns and successes.
Join us in Brookfield for dinner with a Game Warden. We'll have warm soup and bread and meet Officer Bella Kline. Officer Kline will discuss the nature of the work of a game warden, important laws that landowners should be aware of, some tips and tricks for using game cameras and then be available for questions while we eat dinner together. Officer Kline is also a certified K9 handler and she and her partner, Spike, will do a demonstration. K9 Spike is certified in gunshot residue detection and air scent search and rescue.
VWA will supply the bowls/spoons and soup. Please bring a side dish to share with approximately 10 people. We can't wait to spend a fall evening together!
