Hands-On Apple Pruning & Tree Release Workshop
Join the Vermont Woodlands Association for a hands-on workshop focused on the basics of apple tree pruning with David Wilcox from the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation. This workshop will cover how, where and when to make a pruning cut and then give you an opportunity to practice!
In addition to pruning, we will introduce the basics of apple tree release. This includes removing competing vegetation around apple trees and other important wildlife trees to give them more light and space to grow and thrive.
This is a great opportunity to get outside, connect with others, and get some practice!
