Understanding the Proposed UVA Standards: Virtual Q&A and Input Session
Join Vermont Woodlands Association and the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation (FPR) for a virtual Q&A and input session on the proposed updates to the Use Value Appraisal (UVA) Program Standards.
We’ll be joined by Keith Thompson, Private Lands Program Manager at the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation, who will walk through the proposed updates and answer your questions. The session, facilitated by Kate Forrer of Vermont Woodlands Association, is designed to help landowners, consulting foresters, and partners in forest stewardship understand what the proposed changes do—and do not—mean for enrollment in the Use Value Appraisal (UVA) Program.
Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance. We’ll compile and share these at the start of the session, then open the floor for a live Q&A to ensure your most important questions are addressed.
