Ready to build confidence and improve your chainsaw skills? Join us for Game of Logging, a nationally recognized training program that combines Scandinavian logging techniques with current approaches to chainsaw safety and working around trees.
Level 1: Chainsaw Safety and Basic Tree Felling
Saturday, August 29, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Moretown, Vermont
Level 1 covers personal protective equipment, chainsaw safety and operation, and basic tree-felling techniques. No prior chainsaw experience is required.
Level 2: Maintenance and Advanced Felling Techniques
Sunday, August 30, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Moretown, Vermont
Level 2 focuses on chainsaw maintenance, chain sharpening, and the advanced application of safe tree-felling techniques. Participants must have completed Level 1 before taking Level 2. You may register for both levels and complete them on consecutive days.
This hands-on training emphasizes safety, efficiency, and confidence in the woods. Each participant will have an opportunity to fell a tree during the course.
Registration Details
- Class size is limited to 10 participants per level.
- Cost: $200 per person, per class
- Register for Level 1, Level 2, or both.
- The Moretown location and directions will be shared with registered participants.
