Women and Our Woods VT: Small-Scale Management for Big Questions
Join Dr. Jess Wikle (forester, lecturer, and manager of UVM's research forests) and Carmen McFadden (UVM forestry senior and WOW-VT steering committee member) for a women-centered walk at the Jericho Research Forest. We will walk through the forest to observe and discuss recent small-scale management that addresses some big questions and hot topics in VT's forest community, including beech management and beech leaf disease, climate change and resilience,.
