Women and Our Woods VT: Forest Management Walk at Paradise Park
Join county foresters Hannah Dallas and Tessa McGann on women-centered walk through Paradise Park, the Windsor Town Forest. Hannah wrote the most recent forest management plan for the park, which included a timber harvest that she oversaw this past winter. We will walk through and discuss past, present and future management for a suite of goals and how town forests are demonstration sites for management that can happen on other privately owned forests. Bring your questions and curiosity!
