Ready to build confidence and improve your chainsaw skills? Join Women & Our Woods and Vermont Woodlands Association for Game of Logging, a nationally recognized training program that combines Scandinavian logging techniques with the latest approaches to chainsaw safety and working around trees.

About the GOL Trainings

Level 1 (8/29) covers chainsaw safety, personal protective equipment, saw operation, and basic tree felling techniques. No prior chainsaw experience is required.

Level 2 (8/30) focuses on chainsaw maintenance, chain sharpening, and advanced application of safe felling techniques. Participants must complete Level 1 before taking Level 2.

This hands-on training emphasizes safety, efficiency, and confidence in the woods. Each participant will have the opportunity to fell a tree during the course.

• Class size limited to 10 participants
• Sign up for one, or both.
• Cost: $200 per class/day
